Collection: Bunsai Ogawa
Bunsai Kiln was established in 1847 by the first Ogawa Bunsai (Bunsuke), and is a prestigious kiln that has passed down techniques and beauty in the Gojozaka area of Kyoto for over 150 years. The current head of the family, the sixth Ogawa Bunsai (Oki), has been developing flexible creations that go beyond the traditional framework of "Kyoto ware" by fusing traditional Kyo-yaki techniques with a modern sculptural sense and a deep exploration of color.
