Chamfered edges create a three-dimensional, sharp shape

One of the most distinctive features of this tea bowl is its three-dimensional, sharp shape, achieved through the use of a beveling technique. The intricate overlapping of geometric surfaces creates a unique three-dimensional effect. This design, which highlights the sharp edges, gives the bowl an overwhelming presence and leaves a strong impression on the viewer. Furthermore, when you pick it up, the three-dimensional lines feel comfortable on your fingers, and you will discover something new every time you use it.

The harmony of color and texture of blue-and-white porcelain

The beauty of this tea bowl is enhanced by the smooth texture unique to pale blue porcelain and the natural gradation of the mud-like layers of glaze. The contrast between the thin, transparent pale blue porcelain and the thick, mud-like layers creates a rich expression both visually and tactilely. The subdued color of the pale blue porcelain gracefully colors the quiet moment of the tea ceremony.
