The beauty of elegant flowers floating on blue-and-white porcelain

The "Kage Seirin Hana Chawan" is a work by Kotaro Ikura, and is a beautiful piece with a floral pattern that emerges faintly from the blue-and-white porcelain. The flowers are not conspicuous at all, but are painted quietly and elegantly to blend into the surface of the tea bowl, making it a vessel of serenity that calms the mind of the viewer.

A fusion of elegance and serenity

The moment you pick up this tea bowl, you can feel its elegance and tranquility. The work is free of all decoration, and instead highlights the beauty of the material and the refinement of the shape, giving the viewer a distinctive impression of purity. This Kage Seirinbana tea bowl also has a hidden beauty in its simplicity, and it soothes the heart of the user.

The traditional beauty of ring flowers lives on in modern times

The beauty of the ring flower has been cherished in Japanese pottery since ancient times. Its shape is modeled after the outlines of flowers in nature, giving the bowl a soft expression. The ring flower shape is alive in this tea bowl as well, and its beautiful curves bring softness and movement to the entire bowl. When you pick up the bowl and run your fingers around the edge, you can feel the graceful shape, and you can enjoy the joy of experiencing its beauty every time you use it.

Elegant construction and pure beauty

The work of Kotaro Ikura is characterized by its precise and elegant construction. This Kage Seirinbana tea bowl is no exception, and the traces of the meticulous workmanship are apparent the moment you touch it. The maker's technique and aesthetic sense are perfectly combined, and the thinness and uniform shape of the bowl speak of its high level of perfection as a work of art. Its pure beauty clears the mind the moment you hold the tea bowl in your hands.

Colors and shapes that harmonize with nature

The pale color of the blue-and-white porcelain evokes the stillness and dignified beauty of nature. The shade of Kage-sei is a subtle shade that is neither blue nor white, and the way its expression changes depending on the amount of light is one of the charms of this tea bowl. Combined with the soft curves of the ring flower, it exudes a calm and harmonious beauty, as if it were a slice of nature. The "Kage-sei Ring Flower Tea Bowl by Ikura Kotaro" is a quiet and elegant piece that weaves together the floral pattern and ring flower shape that float in the blue-and-white porcelain. Its neat construction and purity will tighten your heart the moment you hold it in your hands, making your tea ceremony time even more special. This tea bowl, which breathes the beauty of traditional ring flowers into the modern era, is a piece that allows you to rediscover its charm every time you use it.
