The beauty and craftsmanship of blue and white porcelain
Blue-and-white porcelain is a type of white porcelain characterized by a pale bluish white color due to trace amounts of iron contained in the glaze. Its transparent color exudes a tranquil, refreshing feeling, like water or air. Mr. Ikura's blue-and-white porcelain works utilize the difficult technique of applying a thick layer of glaze during firing, resulting in uniform color development and deep beauty. This incense burner also exudes the elegance and purity unique to blue-and-white porcelain, and the deep color of the glaze is highlighted depending on the angle of the light.
The elegance of the flower-shaped wreath
"Rinka" refers to the technique of creating wavy petal-shaped edges on the vessel. In this "Blue and White Porcelain Rinka Incense Burner," the rinka flower is elegantly expressed through Ikura's delicate technique. The shape of the gently spreading petals, combined with the soft texture of the blue and white porcelain, creates a dignified beauty of form. The gentle curves of the rinka flower also softly reflect light, creating a three-dimensional effect and a sense of flowing movement throughout the incense burner.
The elegance of an incense burner
This incense burner is not only used for burning incense, but is also a beautiful piece of decoration in itself. The soft curves of the floral arrangement and the transparent color of the pale blue porcelain gracefully decorate the entire space when burning incense. The pure texture of the pale blue porcelain and the quiet diffusion of the incense create a truly soothing moment.
