Masahiko Ichino

He is the second son of Shinsui, the founder of Shinsui Kiln, a Tamba ware potter who was known as a master craftsman. While respecting traditional values, he does not stop there and pursues new beauty in form. In 1995, he was the youngest person to win the Grand Prize and the Chichibunomiya Cup at the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition. He is active in exhibitions not only in Japan but also around the world.
