Ichino Toshinari is a representative artist of Tamba ware, which has been recognized as one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns and is a designated Japanese Heritage Site. He is also the second-generation potter of Ennengama, located in Imada-cho, Tamba Sasayama City, and pursues his own style and techniques while following the traditions of Tamba ware. He became a professor at Osaka University of Arts at the age of 50 and also taught pottery at the Hyogo Prefectural Cultural Association's Life and Culture University. His extensive experience and outstanding skills are condensed in this celadon-glazed tea bowl.
