"Flower Vase, Megumi" is a work that combines Nobuhito Nakaoka's outstanding technique and humorous aesthetic sense. This flower vase uses the colored ash glaze technique, skillfully combining gosu and manganese pigments with ash glaze to achieve a unique and beautiful color and texture. The flower shape is humorous, yet the design is also beautiful.

Skillful application of colored ash glaze technique

"Kasei, Mei" is a work that fully demonstrates Nakaoka's colored ash glaze technique. The ash glaze, which is a mixture of oak ash and earth ash, has a texture similar to a natural glaze similar to Vidro glaze, but the vivid colors of the gosu and manganese flow beautifully onto the surface of the vases, deeply moving the viewer.

Humorous and beautiful design

The design features a humorous floral shape, but also has striking beauty. This piece expresses a unique aesthetic sense and brings a sense of fun and excitement to everyday spaces. No matter what flowers you use, it will create a fun and beautiful moment.

A fusion of tradition and innovation

While respecting the traditional techniques of Tamba ware, he incorporates his own unique creativity to create new value. "Kasei, Mei" is one of his most iconic pieces, and is a perfect fusion of the rich history of Tamba ware and Nakaoka's modern sensibility.

Elegance and practicality

In addition to its beautiful design, it is also practical. It functions as a vessel for arranging flowers, while providing the viewer with a sense of quality time and space. This work, which combines outstanding craftsmanship and aesthetic sense, will bring new discoveries and joy every time it is used.

Creating a special space

It has the power to transform everyday spaces into something special. The humorous and beautiful design and the unique colors and textures achieved through the colored ash glaze technique provide a comfortable sense of satisfaction to the user. This piece, created by Nobuhito Nakaoka, brings special moments into everyday life.

"Kasei, Mei" is a humorous and beautiful design that fuses tradition and innovation. This kasei, which makes full use of the colored ash glaze technique, brings gaiety and joy to any space and leaves a deep impression on those who see it.
