Nishihata Masashi

Making full use of his many years of experience and outstanding techniques, he creates supreme works that combine tradition and innovation, passion and serenity. In 1991, he was selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, and won the Grand Prize at the Tea Ceremony Art Exhibition. In 2015, he received the Hyogo Prefecture Culture Award.
