Seiichi Ohnishi

Among the many Tamba ware kilns, this is the only one where all of the pieces are fired in a climbing kiln (with split pine logs) for about three days and nights. If you use this piece for a long time, it will eventually develop a "used character" (blackening) and change to a very beautiful color.
